Pamco Co., Ltd. (co-CEOs Dongmin Jung and Jongmin Lim), a smart agriculture solutions specialist, will officially launch its in-house-developed smart farm control solution LYNKIT on the 1st. LYNKIT addresses the slow response times and unstable connectivity of existing IoT control systems, long cited as the biggest source of frustration in the field. Its core technology is an ultra-high-speed, two-way communication function that responds in under 0.1 seconds, allowing farmers to control greenhouse openers, water pumps, irrigation, CCTV, thermostats, and other farm equipment in real time using nothing but a smartphone. Notably, the system uses PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology to combine power and data over a single LAN cable, greatly simplifying installation. It can be installed immediately without complex wiring, and as long as an internet connection is available, it can be remotely controlled from anywhere, at home or abroad. A Pamco official said, "Built on fast response and high reliability, LYNKIT will be a practical smart farm solution that farmers can genuinely feel the benefit of," adding that "pricing at roughly one-tenth of existing systems also greatly reduces the burden of initial adoption costs." LYNKIT's launch is also expected to lower the barrier to entry into smart farming for small and medium-sized farms. In particular, its ease and speed of installation, even for older farmers or greenhouses with poor installation conditions, is expected to help popularize smart farming more broadly. Pamco is a newly formed company that has strengthened its R&D capabilities by combining the technology of smart-control firm Cubic (QVIC) with its merger with internationally accredited testing institute ATL.
